Hi, I'm a freelance web designer, you may recognise me from Twitter, you may not. That's me - over there >>

Web design, brand identity (logos, icons etc.), consultancy, project management.

My offering is divided into two services...

One... Add-on resource for web companies or to help you increase your business potential by providing the 'web arm' of your business if you don't have one already. I can also ease the burden when the workload becomes too large to handle, when deadlines are looming or simply cover missing staff who are on holiday, off sick or on maternity leave. I can take on any web project from logo design to HTML/CSS and CMS implementation.

Two... Web Designer for hire. I can design your site from scratch, including the logo and brand, code it to the latest web standards, add a sprinkling of jQuery or Flash and place it on a Content Management System so you can control the content.

He doesn't have a name yet! Poor thing!
I certainly wouldn't pitch myself as an Illustrator, but I can sketch and draw. In fact, if you do decide to work with me, you'll see I'll quickly get a pen and sketchpad out to develop those initial ideas. It's quicker to realise good and bad ideas and it will save you money from the start.

What don't I offer directly?

Print work. My background is digital design (web, user interface, etc.) I can use CMYK for logos, posters and brand guidelines, but I'd either put you in touch with a proper print designer or manage that part of the relationship for you if that's what you prefer.

Programming. I deal with, what I like to call, the "fluffy" side of programming. I'm not a PHP, ASP, .NET or Hardcore Flash ActionScript developer. What I can do is utilise the jQuery library to provide an enhanced user experience and use flash at an animation and intermediate ActionScript level.

Hosting. I can either recommend a hosting company for you to use or set this up on your behalf. The hosting is with a third party and any support issues will need to be dealt with through them. I can deal with issues directly on your behalf though, if required.

It's the typical web designer dilemma! Too busy to spend time on my own website! Thankfully, there are some great online services where I post a lot of my work, dribbble.com and forrst.com. A large amount of my work is also confidential and I'm unable to display this online. I know you're going to want to see what I'm capable of though, if you contact me I can send an offline portfolio for your eyes only. If you decide to work with me, you'll receive the same level of confidentiality (if you need it) for the work that I produce for you or on the behalf of your company.

Yes that's right, you need HTML and CSS to put those lovely concepts into action. It's not a problem, you're in good hands, I can take your design and put it into pixel perfect HTML and CSS for you. I can even set you up on a Content Management System so that you can keep control of your own content.

No problem, I can help you with all parts of your brand from consultation all the way through to designing and developing your brand. Usually a face to face meeting is best for these types of discussions, I'm based near Southampton and Portsmouth but can get to London in about an hour.
